Introduction to the office Internet environment
Since the Wi-Fi signal was weak and the communication speed was slow on the first floor of the living space, a wired LAN cable was pulled from the second floor. The LAN cable that was pulled up to the office is connected to a router and used for Wi-Fi and wired LAN.
LAN cable extension work
Here’s a little about what happened when we extended the LAN cable from the second floor to the first floor。
It was a little difficult to crawl the corners along the wall as shown in the photo, but once I get used to it, it’s no big deal.
Internet speed comparison
The Internet speed was about 5~46 Mbps before the installation, but after the installation, the speed has improved to more than 200 Mbps even with a wireless connection, making it a comfortable environment.
Speed before LAN installation: 46 Mbps
Speed after LAN installation: 280 Mbps
